GIFT Facilitator Training
January 21 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
This one-hour session will prepare faculty and other interested instructional staff to be GIFT facilitators. The Group Instruction Feedback Technique (GIFT) is a method that uses small group discussion among students to give instructors midterm feedback with the goal of making improvements to their course for the remainder of the term. It also allows students to reflect on their learning thus far. The feedback is solely for the instructor and their students, to be used for professional development. Facilitators are needed to offer GIFTs for spring term and beyond.
Attendance is flexible – remote or in-person (9/127).
