Starting July 19, all Zoom meetings will require either a Meeting Password or Waiting Room enabled.

Zoom will enable a Waiting Room for your meetings if neither is enabled.

Select one of the following options when scheduling your meetings.

Meeting Passwords

Select Require Meeting Password when scheduling meetings. The Password will be included in the meeting invite automatically.

NOTE: If you add a Password to an existing meeting, calendar invites will need to be re-sent to include the Password.

Waiting Rooms

Select Enable Waiting Room when scheduling meetings.

NOTE: You can configure settings and customize your wait room from your Zoom Settings on the Zoom website.

Enabling the waiting room automatically disables the setting for allowing participants to join before host.
