There will be three communities of practice launching soon:

  • Anti-Racist Pedagogy – facilitated by Taylor Marrow

  • Gamification – facilitated by Bill Hamlin

  • Integrating Learning Strategies (for teaching co-requisite support courses) – facilitator to be announced

A fourth community of practice focusing on assessment is also being explored.

Description: The diversity of students today requires individualized approaches to communication. Using examples from their own classes, the facilitators help others understand and communicate better with their students. The challenges that have occurred in the past and strategies available to overcome them are discussed. Each type has its own inherent strengths and potential weaknesses.
