The next time you drop in to the Tech Hub in person or to our virtual office hours, you may meet the newest member of the Tech Hub faculty support team, Lauren Funderburg.
Lauren has a master’s degree in TESOL and has taught both locally and abroad including Germany, Ecuador, and Vietnam. She spent the last nine years teaching English language learners at Oregon State University. While teaching at Oregon State, Lauren developed an interest in finding ways to incorporate new learning technologies into her classes to enhance student learning. This interest in educational technology led her to pursue a certificate in eLearning design and development. As a native to Salem, Lauren is especially excited to be a part of Chemeketa and contribute to providing quality education for our community.
