Your success with Pearson products is their top priority, so they perform monthly maintenance to keep everything up-to-date, secure and stable. The April scheduled maintenance will take place:

  • Start: Friday, April 16, 2021, 10:00 p.m. PT
  • End: Saturday, April 17, 2021, 6:00 a.m. PT

Please let your students know so they can adjust their schedules. See details below about how the products you use will be affected. If you do not see your specific product listed, it means that it will be available for use during the maintenance window.

MyLabs, MyLabsPlus, and Mastering: This includes all Pegasus-based MyLabs (World languages, IT, communication, political science), XL-based MyLabs (Math, business, English, health science, and careers & nursing): You and your students will be unable to access your courses for the entire maintenance window.

  • This impacts all courses integrated with Canvas.
  • When you and your students attempt to access your courses, you’ll see a splash page letting you know about the maintenance work.

Revel and enhanced Revel: You and your students will be unable to access your courses for the entire maintenance window.

  • This impacts anyone accessing Revel content through Canvas.
  • When you attempt to access your courses, you’ll see a splash page letting you know about the maintenance work.
  • Content downloaded to the mobile app prior to the maintenance start will be available.
  • Course registration will not be impacted.

MyEnglishLab and Pearson English Portal: You and your students will be unable to access your courses for the entire maintenance window.

MathXL for K-12, and MathXL Global: You and your students will be unable to access your courses for the entire maintenance window.

Messages will be posted on the sign-on page for Revel and MyLab, Twitter, @PearsonSupport, and on our Pearson System Status web page, 72 hours prior to the April 17th event. If any products become impacted during an event, you’ll see it listed on the status page too.
