If you encounter an undelivered message from Canvas, below is information and instructions for resolving this issue.
This summer we changed email addresses for employee accounts in Canvas. When replying to Canvas messages using Gmail you must use your username@chemeketa.edu email address.
To correct this issue you can change your Gmail settings to Reply from the same address the message was sent to:
- Browse to your Gmail Inbox
- Click on the Gear icon (top right corner)
- Click on See All Settings
- Click on Accounts and Import
- Under “When replying to a message” select “Reply from the same address the message was sent to“
This should resolve the issue when replying to messages sent from Canvas.
NOTE: if you are using a mobile device you may need to add your username@chemeketa.edu account to your device when replying to messages sent from Canvas.
