AVAILABLE NOW! Blackboard Migrated Courses in Canvas
Winter & Spring 2020 courses have been migrated to Canvas and are now available for instructor access.
The college will migrate Summer 2020 courses from Blackboard to Canvas at the end of summer term.
NOTE: Instructor access to Blackboard will end on Dec 31, 2020.
All eLearn courses will be taught using the Canvas system starting Fall 2020. We encourage instructors to begin developing their courses in Canvas for fall term.
REMINDER: Summer Training on Canvas

- Canvas Essentials: This zoom workshop is designed to introduce instructors to Canvas for teaching face-to-face / remote, online, and hybrid classes. Participants will also gain access to the online course to complete their training.
- Preparing Migrated Courses in Canvas: This zoom workshop is designed to help instructors prepare their Blackboard Migrated courses for teaching in Canvas. Instructors will be able to identify key differences between Blackboard and Canvas while receiving advice on what actions to take during their course preparation.
Canvas for Instructors – online course
The Canvas for Instructors online course is designed to help all instructors learn Canvas. In the course you will find details about Canvas features including screenshots, videos and quick links to learn more.
Login to Canvas
Instructors can access the Canvas eLearn system at: https://chemeketa.instructure.com. Login using your Chemeketa Single Sign On username and password.
