QOI Returns

The Quality Online Instruction (QOI) reviews are starting up again with a new approach. The QOI standards will be split into a two-part review process. This fall we will begin with Regular and Substantive Interaction (RSI) reviews, and Course Design reviews will follow later this academic year. The application cycle runs October 20 – November 15, 2022. For more information and to apply for a review, check out the QOI page on our faculty website.

Get Ready for an RSI Review

Regular and substantive interaction, or RSI, is a required criteria in online instruction by the US Department of Education.  Chemeketa faculty have long recognized the value of RSI, and included RSI standards in our Quality Online Instruction (QOI) course review program. This session will look at what RSI is, why it’s important to a quality online learning experience, and an overview of the QOI RSI review opportunity.
