Remote Course Development Training
This workshop is designed to prepare new instructors for the remote modality, and to sharpen veteran instructors’ skills. Participants will explore methods of communicating with remote students, techniques for managing the in-person and online components of a remote class, and strategies for engaging and assessing remote learners.
Participants will engage with the following topics:
- Learning modalities and technology
- Inclusion and accessibility
- Managing and communicating with remote learners
- Engaging and assessing remote learners
- Dual Delivery Instruction
At the end of the workshop, participants will have the opportunity to synthesize their learning and apply it to a practice remote instruction session.
