As more on-campus activities are taking place, we would like to give you a special update on the Student Academic Support Services available this term.
- Virtual and Remote Support are still available to students seeking tutoring services, workshops, academic consultations, and more. More Information and Virtual Assistance can be accessed through the “Studying” tab on MyChemeketa.
- Limited In-Person Support is now available in several locations on the Salem & Yamhill Campuses, and at the Polk & Woodburn Centers. See the attachment below for more information, and get the latest service updates on MyChemeketa.
Help Us Get the Word Out!
- Academic Support Service Flyer – can be shared with your students, posted in your Canvas shells, and circulated as you see fit. (Clickable hyperlinks in the flyer should lead directly to where students can connect with services.)
- Winter 2022 Workshop Flyer – provides information about workshops offered in Online Learning Strategies, Study Skills, and Writing. Some faculty like to offer extra credit for attending these workshops and we think that’s pretty great…
Staff are available for Class Visits upon request!
Simply email Tutor@Chemeketa.edu and request a class visit.
Include your class days/times, and a location (an on-campus building/room number or a Zoom meeting link), and we’ll arrange to drop in for a 5 minute orientation.
We’ll introduce ourselves and give your students a quick overview on how to access academic support services.
