Dear Faculty,

As part of our eLearn Retention and Archival Process, we are removing enrollments from courses that were migrated from Blackboard. You can recognize them as they will begin with “Bb” and not have “dev” in the name. These courses may still be useful by a small number of faculty, but for the most part, all course materials that were migrated should be in proper Canvas courses by this time. Many migrated courses have been labeled as Development courses which will not be affected by this change.

This action will take place on Wednesday, September 28th. If you wish to opt out of this process, see the Opt Out instructions below. To be clear, these courses will not be deleted, only the enrollments will be marked as ‘deleted’ which will remove them from your list of courses. This action can be undone if necessary.

Opt Out Instructions:

To Opt Out of being removed from all courses migrated from Blackboard, please enter your username into the Bb Opt Out form by Tuesday, September 27th (login to your college Google account to access this form).

As a result of this request, you will retain access, and all of your migrated courses will be labeled as DEVELOPMENT courses.

Note: Development courses that were migrated from Blackboard have already been switched to the DEVELOPMENT label and are not affected.
