Kaltura Personal Capture
The Kaltura Personal Capture software is an easy to use tool for recording media. You can record your computer screen, web camera and microphone.
Record and upload media longer than 15 minutes in length.
Download Kaltura Personal Capture in Canvas
You can access Canvas at: elearn.chemeketa.edu
- Click on your Account in the Global Navigation menu
- Select Kaltura My Media from the list
- Click the Add New button and select Kaltura Capture
- From the Kaltura Capture page click on one of the links to download Kaltura Capture to your computer.
- Once the file downloads open the file and follow the prompts to install it on your computer.
REQUIRED STEP: After you install the software, browse to your Kaltura My Media page and click on the Add New button and select Kaltura Capture once again.
You will see a prompt to Open Kaltura Capture. This is a required step when you first install the software and will connect Kaltura Capture to your My Media library.
The Kaltura Capture software will open and you’ll see a toolbar with options for recording. Kaltura Capture is supported on Windows and MacOS computers.
